Description

A Medico Blood Glucose Monitor is a portable device for people with diabetes to check sugar levels, typically using a finger prick and test strip, giving a reading in seconds to help manage insulin/diet; it’s part of a larger system including lancets, strips, and a meter that stores data for tracking blood sugar trends, essential for preventing complications. 

1. Preparation: You’ll use a lancing device (with a lancet) to prick your fingertip to get a small drop of blood.
2. Application: Place the blood drop onto a specific test strip inserted into the meter.
3. Reading: The meter analyzes the strip and displays your blood glucose level (e.g., in mg/dL or mmol/L) within seconds.
